Frequently Asked Questions
- Q. Do I need to lose weight before we shoot?
- A. Absolutely not. 90% of women think they look bigger than they actually are. 99% of women think they would look beautiful if only they could change at least something about their appearance. At Frisson Art we can prove that you do not need to change anything at all.
- Q. So do you re-touch photographs?
- A. Yes we do. We still appreciate that the women we photograph want to look their very best, and so with every image purchased we take great care in removing any scars, birthmarks and other blemishes according to your wishes.
- Q. Will my photographs appear on your websites?
- A. No. All the images on our websites are there with the express permission of the people photographed. Occasionally we will ask someone if we can use some of their images, but without their written permission, all images remain private and will not be revealed to anyone else.
- Q. Do I have to get naked?
- A. No. These photographs are for you, and you decide how much or how little you want to reveal. Our prime goal is to make sure that you are relaxed and comfortable so that you look your very best.
- Q. How much do you charge?
- A.
For a typical shoot of 1-3 hours we have a set fee of $50 which includes two images (high resolution on a CD). You can then decide to buy additional images from the shoot at $20 each. Most people spend between $200-$800 with this arrangement. Prints can also be arranged through a secure online service.
- Q. Can you do calenders?
- A.
Yes. After your photo-shoot you can choose your favorite images to be featured on your very own calender. The calender can run from any month in the year, so for example if your wedding anniversary is in April I can set the 12 months to run from May 2010 to April 2011. Holidays and special events such as your birthdays etc can also be added to make the calendar as personal as you wish. A calender on its own cost $175.
- Q. Do you give discounts for the military?
- A. Yes. Members of the military will receive a 10% discount on prices quoted.
- Q. Who owns the copyright to the images?
- A. The copyright of all images remains with Frisson Art, however the person who appears in the pictures is free to make as many copies or prints as she wants to. This right does not extend to anybody else.
- Q. Can I post my pictures on the internet?
- A. As long as you are the person in the photograph yes you can, and I can guarantee there will be a part of you that will definitely want to. If you have a MySpace, Twitter, or other account then you can place any of the images you purchase on those pages, or even on your very own web-page. You can't however, offer the images for sale as prints, or use them to promote yourself in a commercial interest.
