Frisson Art
Hello and welcome to the home of Frisson Art. I am a British born photographer and my American wife and I moved here to Shreveport, Louisiana in September 2005. We shoot a variety of styles including portraits, glamour and art nude work, and as you will see from the examples shown we can create a wide range of images depending on your needs.
We prefer to work outside or in an everyday environment using natural light wherever possible. Although I have enjoyed shooting in a studio I find people are less intimidated by the camera when they are surrounded by familiar things. People are rarely in a photographic studio and so I avoid them where possible.
In our portrait/glamour work we like to capture the character of a person as well as their visual likeness. Our sessions are relaxed and informal, allowing you, the model to ease into the shoot and gain confidence as we go forward.
For music and events I capture the energy or atmosphere of the moment, providing the viewer with a lasting impression of what it was like to be there as well as showing a journalistic record of the event itself.
